Why us

Built for skeptical business owners

The page has to answer the questions in your buyer's head.

Most visitors do not need a prettier agency pitch. They need to know whether you are credible, whether the price is sensible, whether the process will be painful, and whether someone will actually reply.

01

You know the price before we start.

For well-scoped websites and focused AI builds, we quote one fixed number and one written scope. If the brief changes, we agree that before the bill changes.

Fixed-price website builds from £2,750
02

You deal with the people doing the work.

No account manager, no ticket queue, no mystery handoff to a junior team. Chris and Kay scope it, build it, and talk to you directly.

Two founders, one direct line
03

The site has to earn enquiries.

We write around the questions buyers actually ask: price, timescale, proof, process, service area, and whether you understand their trade.

Built around calls, forms and quote requests
04

AI only goes where it pays back.

We do not sell automation for the sake of it. We map the admin, estimate the time value, and build the smallest useful tool first.

Kingsland: invoice matching from 8 hrs/wk to 20 min

That same logic is how we review your site: what is unclear, what blocks an enquiry, what should move up the page, and what should disappear.

How we work

Process / Timeline

Six weeks. Four milestones. No mystery.

We've done this enough times that the shape is predictable — which is exactly what you want when someone else is writing the cheque.

Week 0 — Intro

Talk it through.

15-minute intro call. No slides. You tell us what's going on; we follow up by email with sharper questions and, if it's a fit, a longer discovery session.

  • Free intro call
  • Thoughtful email follow-up
  • Fixed quote once scope is clear
Week 1 — Scope

Fix the price.

Written scope, one number, a launch date. You sign it. It doesn't change without your say-so.

  • Fixed-price contract
  • Milestone schedule
  • Named point of contact
Week 2–5 — Build

Get to work.

We build in the open. Weekly demo calls, a live preview link, and you see progress every Friday.

  • Friday progress demos
  • Live preview URL
  • Slack or WhatsApp channel
Week 6 — Ship

Launch. Watch. Tune.

We launch alongside you, monitor for a fortnight, and tune what needs tuning. Then you own it.

  • Launch day support
  • Analytics baseline
  • Optional £99 / mo care plan
Questions

Questions

The questions we get every week.

01 How much does a new website cost?

Most clients invest £3,000–£8,000 depending on pages and features. You get a fixed quote once scope is clear — after a 15-minute intro call and an email follow-up. No hidden costs, no scope creep.

02 How long does it take?

Most websites take 4–6 weeks from start to launch. AI projects start delivering in 2 weeks and scale from there. We book a launch date in week 1 and hit it — provided feedback comes back within 2 working days. Slow replies slow the project; that's written into the contract so there are no surprises.

03 Do you do retainers?

Yes — and for software and AI work, a monthly plan is usually the best shape. Most clients start on a fixed-price first project (a website or a focused AI build), then move onto a £175/mo care plan for simple websites, or a £3,000–£5,000/month plan for continuous software and AI work.

04 I've had a bad experience with an agency before. How are you different?

Plain English. Honest pricing — fixed for well-scoped work, monthly for ongoing programmes. Weekly Friday demos so you see it happen. Plus you're talking to Chris & Kay directly — the pair who design and build it. No account manager in the middle, no ticketing system, no reselling to juniors.

05 We're not a tech business — will we understand any of this?

Yes. We mostly work with owner-operators — manufacturers, trades, EV installers, retailers, charities, professional services. Nearly none of them are 'tech' businesses, and they don't need to be. We write everything in plain English, not acronyms.

Tell us what needs sorting.

Send the rough outline. Chris or Kay will come back with the sensible next step, whether that is a fixed quote, a quick call, or a straight answer that it is not worth doing yet.
