1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, to improve the user experience, and to provide information to website owners.

2. How We Use Cookies

Happy Webs uses a small local preference to remember your analytics choice. Optional analytics cookies are set only when you choose to accept them. We do not use analytics cookies to collect personally identifiable information.

3. Types of Cookies We Use

Essential Cookies

Necessary for the website to function. These are set in response to actions you take, such as setting your privacy preferences or filling in forms.

Analytics Cookies

Allow us to count visits and traffic sources so we can measure and improve the performance of our site. We use Google Analytics 4 for traffic measurement and Microsoft Clarity for behavioural analytics, see "Behavioural Analytics" below. These run only after you accept analytics cookies.

Behavioural Analytics (Microsoft Clarity)

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Clarity collects aggregated, anonymised data about page interactions (clicks, scrolls, and session replays) using cookies and similar technologies. By default Clarity masks form inputs, passwords, payment information, and any element marked sensitive, so personal data you type into a form is never recorded. Clarity does not share or sell the data, and Microsoft is contractually bound to use it only to provide the service to us. For full details see Microsoft's Privacy Statement.

Functional Cookies

Enable enhanced functionality and personalisation, set by us or by third-party providers whose services we have added.

4. Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies are placed by third-party services that appear on our pages, including Google Analytics 4 (anonymous traffic statistics) and Microsoft Clarity (behavioural analytics with masked form data). We do not control cookies set by third parties.

5. Managing Cookies

You can choose Accept analytics or Reject in the banner shown on your first visit. You can also control and manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to refuse or accept cookies, delete existing cookies, and set preferences for certain websites.

  • Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies
  • Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions

6. Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.

7. Contact Us
