Start with the real blocker.

Four signs the current setup is costing time, enquiries or confidence:

01

The right pages are not being found or chosen

Crawl and indexing issues, weak titles, duplicated pages, slow mobile performance or poor internal links can bury the services and products that should be bringing in enquiries.

02

The monthly report never explains the work

Rankings and traffic are shown without saying what changed, what it produced or what happens next. You should be able to see the named work and why it matters.

03

You rank for the company name, not the profitable work

A capable fabricator, door firm or manufacturer can still be invisible for the processes, products, service areas and urgent jobs its buyers actually search for.

04

Your proof is hard for buyers and Google to understand

Thin service copy, buried case studies and inconsistent business information make it harder for buyers and search engines to work out why your firm is the credible choice.

A clear scope, written down.

The exact mix depends on the problem, but these are the practical parts we can own:

01

Find the demand worth winning

Search Console, competitor and enquiry research focused on profitable services, products, locations and buyer questions—not volume for its own sake

02

Remove technical blockers

Crawl and indexing checks, speed, redirects, schema, sitemaps, internal links and conversion measurement, prioritised by likely impact

03

Build pages buyers can choose from

Clear service, capability, product and category pages with real proof, useful detail and an obvious route to ring or enquire

04

Strengthen genuine local visibility

Google Business Profile, reviews, citations and useful service-area content for locations you can honestly and profitably serve

05

Make proof easier to understand

Case studies, expert answers, structured data and consistent business information that strengthen trust and organic search visibility

06

Measure what became an enquiry

Calls, forms, orders and useful search visibility reported in plain English, with a written next priority every month

A shape you can plan around.

Step 1

Baseline.

We check Search Console, technical health, local visibility, page quality, competitors and the route from a search to an enquiry.

Step 2

Prioritise.

You get a written order for the fixes most likely to improve qualified visibility, calls, forms or sales.

Step 3

Implement.

We work through the agreed technical, page, local, proof and measurement priorities rather than spreading the budget everywhere.

Step 4

Review.

We explain what changed, what the evidence says and what should happen next across rankings, pages, calls and enquiries.

Know the cost and first priorities.

Start with the size of review the site actually needs. A small-site diagnostic starts from £500, a full audit and prioritised roadmap starts from £1,500, and focused monthly implementation starts from £500 once the priorities are clear.

From £500

Small-site diagnostic

  • For a straightforward website of roughly 20 pages or fewer
  • Technical health, titles, indexing and enquiry-route review
  • Short written list of the highest-priority fixes
  • Clear answer on whether deeper work is worth paying for

From £1,500

Full audit and roadmap

  • Technical, content and local SEO review
  • Search Console, indexation, redirect and conversion-path checks
  • Prioritised fix list with cost and impact notes
  • 30-minute walkthrough call with Chris

From £500/month

Focused implementation

  • A written monthly scope based on the agreed priorities
  • Technical, page, local or content work—not every task at once
  • Calls, forms and qualified visibility measured from a baseline
  • Plain-English report covering what changed and what comes next

No long mystery retainer. If the review shows that paid search, a website rebuild or no further work is the better first move, we will say so.

Things people ask before starting.

01Can you work with our existing website?

Usually, yes. We first check whether the current site can support the pages, technical fixes and tracking the plan needs. If patching it would cost more than a rebuild or keep creating the same problems, we will show you why before recommending a new site.

02Do we need a diagnostic, a full audit or a monthly retainer?

A small, straightforward site can often start with the £500 diagnostic. A larger site, a migration, a long list of indexing problems or several markets usually needs the full audit from £1,500. Monthly work starts from £500 when there is a clear implementation plan rather than a vague promise to “do SEO”.

03What will you actually do each month?

The written scope names the priority work for that month. It may be technical fixes, service or product pages, internal links, Google Business Profile work, case-study proof, content improvements or measurement. A focused £500 retainer does not pretend to cover every SEO task at once.

04How do you measure a qualified enquiry?

We agree the useful actions for your business, such as calls, quote forms, bookings, trade-account applications or completed orders. We track those alongside Search Console visibility and page performance so a traffic increase is not presented as a commercial win on its own.

05How long before we can judge whether SEO is working?

The baseline and obvious technical fixes can be established in the first weeks. Early movement is usually assessed over 8–12 weeks, while competitive organic growth often takes three to six months or longer. We cannot control when Google changes a result, so we report the evidence rather than promise a date.

06What is the difference between SEO and GEO?

SEO improves how your business appears in traditional search results such as Google. Generative engine optimisation focuses on whether answer engines can understand, source and cite your business when someone asks a conversational question. The foundations overlap, but the research, content formats and measurement are different. See our Generative Engine Optimisation service for that separate scope.

07Do you use AI to write our content?

We use AI to speed up research, analysis and quality checks, but Chris and Kay remain responsible for the strategy, claims, editing and published work. We do not fill websites with unreviewed generic articles or invent experience your business does not have.

08Do you build or buy backlinks?

We do not sell bulk backlink packages. If off-site authority is the real constraint, we will show you and scope credible partnership, citation, supplier, trade-publication or digital PR work separately. We will not hide paid spam links inside a monthly report.
