Avanti Doors, based in King’s Lynn, design and install architectural doors for homes and commercial sites across the UK. They came to us with a specific problem: company email ran off a shared hosting server, the same one the website sat on, and they wanted it sorted properly before it started costing them enquiries.
That is the industrial pattern again: fix the foundation, then make the website work as a serious front door for the audience that actually buys doors.
Phase one, workspace migration. We moved Avanti off the shared server and onto a dedicated Google Workspace. Proper mailboxes, calendar, shared drive, and Gemini enabled across the team for AI-assisted work. Email stopped being a point of failure and started being a tool the business actively uses.
Phase two, the website. Once the back-office was stable, we turned to the public site. The legacy site was slow, underperforming on Google PageSpeed Insights, and missing the schema markup and SEO foundations that help a specialist business get found for what it actually does. We rebuilt the entire site in Astro and optimised every layer: compressed and lazy-loaded imagery, accessibility fixes, structured data Google expects, and no render-blocking waste. Result: 100 across all four Google PageSpeed Insights categories (Performance, Accessibility, Best Practices, and SEO) and a measurable lift in search visibility in Google Search Console.
We work with Avanti on a project-to-project basis now. They come back when the business needs the next piece, and because each phase earned its keep on its own, there’s always a clear case for the next one.
