5. Analytics & Behavioural Tracking

Google Analytics 4 runs by default to produce aggregate statistics that help us improve this website, under the UK PECR statistical-purposes exception. Our UK GDPR lawful basis for this limited processing is our legitimate interest in improving the site. Analytics uses cookie identifiers and usage information; it is not anonymous at collection. We do not send names, email addresses or form messages to GA4.

Google processes analytics on our behalf. Google Signals, advertising personalisation and account data sharing are disabled, and the property has no Google Ads link. Event and user-level retention is set to two months. We use aggregate reports, not individual visitor profiles.

Microsoft Clarity heatmaps and session recordings require your separate consent. Clarity records page interactions with sensitive content masked. See Microsoft's Privacy Statement.

We use TypeSafe (Jev) to help our team sort enquiries by purpose, such as a project request or a supplier pitch. We send the message and selected service information, with contact fields omitted and email addresses and phone numbers in the message redacted where detected. A person reviews uncertain enquiries; this classification does not automatically delete your message. Our form archive records submission and notification status for 90 days. We also retain the source of an enquiry, such as a campaign or referring website, to understand how people found us. Source details may be carried in links within this site; browser storage for these details is used only after analytics consent.

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including to satisfy any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Contact form submissions and project records are typically retained for six years following completion of a project.
