Quotes Out the Door Before Lunch.

You're losing work because quotes take too long. By the time your estimator has read the drawing, looked up the steel, costed the labour, added the margin and emailed it back, three competitors have already replied. We build AI that does the mechanical 80% of estimating in minutes, so your experienced people can spend their time on the 20% that needs judgement.

№ 02The promise

The promise

1 hr → 5 min estimating time per drawing pack (real)
+30–60% more quotes out the door
< 6 wk from kickoff to live quotes
№ 03Where it hurts

Where it hurts

The real friction we hear about.

01

Estimators are your bottleneck

One or two experienced people quote everything. When they're ill, on holiday, or buried in detail work, quotes pile up and customers go elsewhere.

02

Pricing rules live in someone's head

Material rates, finish surcharges, sheet utilisation, weld factors, "we always add £200 for that customer." Knowledge that walks out the door at 5pm and retires next year.

03

Drawings → BOM is the slowest part

Half of estimating time goes into reading a drawing pack and pulling out the cut list. AI does that part in seconds — but only if it actually understands engineering drawings, not just OCR.

04

Customers want to see a price faster than ever

B2B buyers benchmark response times like B2C ones now. If your quote takes two days and a competitor's comes back same-day, you've already lost — even if your price is better.

№ 04How it works

How it works

What we actually build.

01

Extract the requirement

From a drawing, an email, an Excel BOM, or a phone call transcript. The system pulls out parts, dimensions, finishes, quantities, and any special instructions.

02

Apply your pricing logic

Material rates from your live supplier prices. Labour from your rate cards. Finish surcharges. Margin rules per customer or category. The rules live in code where they're auditable — not in someone's spreadsheet.

03

Generate a quote document

Branded PDF, formatted line items, T&Cs, validity dates, your reference numbers. Sent to the customer in your tone of voice, with the right person CC'd for approval.

04

Keep the human in the loop

For everything except the simplest jobs, the quote goes to your estimator for a sense-check before it goes out. They're reviewing in minutes instead of generating from scratch in hours.

№ 05Proof

Proof

Real outcomes, not slideware.

Kingsland Fabrications

Drawing-to-BOM pipeline cut the slowest part of estimating from ~1 hour per drawing to under 5 minutes. Estimators now spend their time on margin and customer judgement, not data entry.

№ 08Questions

Questions

Things people ask us about this.

01 Won't this lose us our edge — anyone could quote like us?

No, because your edge isn't the act of typing numbers into a quote template. It's your relationships, your reputation, your reliability, your speed. AI lets you compete on those by removing the bottleneck. Your pricing rules stay private to your business.

02 What if our pricing is genuinely judgement-based?

It almost always is. That's why the system generates a draft and your estimator reviews. The AI does the mechanical work; the human does the judgement. Most clients find their estimators handle 3-5x the quote volume without working extra hours.

03 Can it read our specific drawing conventions?

Yes — we tune for your conventions during build. Whether you use BS 8888, ISO, ASME, in-house standards, or a mix, we calibrate the extraction to recognise your weld symbols, materials, finishes, and tolerances.

04 How does it handle one-off bespoke work?

It still helps. Even on bespoke work, 60-80% of the BOM is standard items — the bespoke parts get flagged for the estimator to price manually. You save time on the easy 80% instead of treating every job as fully bespoke.

05 What about quote follow-up?

We typically pair this with an AI follow-up agent — if a quote doesn't convert in 7/14/30 days, the system pings the right person with context (what was quoted, when, the customer's last contact). No quote falls off the radar.
