Drawings to Priced Quotes — Before Lunch.
Your estimator reads the drawing, pulls the BOM, looks up the steel, costs the labour, adds the margin, types it into the quote template, formats it, sends it. By the time it's out the door, the customer's already chasing two competitors. We build the AI that does the mechanical 80% of that workflow, so your estimator does the judgement 20%.
The promise
Where it hurts
The fabricators reality.
Fabrication estimating is a senior-judgement job dressed up as a data-entry job. The actual judgement — margin, customer mix, finish call, risk on the job — takes 10 minutes per quote. The data entry around it takes another 50. When your estimator is buried, quotes go out late and good work walks. The single biggest unlock for fabrication SMBs is doing the data entry at machine speed.
What we actually build
Tuned for fabricators.
Drawing → BOM (the Kingsland playbook)
Engineering drawings are read by the document-extraction layer and produce a structured BOM with cut lengths, weld lengths, plate thicknesses, finishes, and special notes.
BOM → priced quote
Material rates from your live supplier prices. Labour rates from your rate cards. Finish surcharges. Margin rules per customer or category. Customer-specific T&Cs. All applied automatically, all auditable.
Quote document → customer
Branded PDF, line items formatted the way you format them, reference numbers, validity dates, T&Cs. Drafted ready for the estimator to send in one click — or auto-sent for trusted customer + value combinations.
Quote → follow-up
Every quote tracked. Seven days no reply: nudge. Fourteen days: check-in. Personalised based on what they asked about and when. No quote falls off the radar.
Real engagement
The outcome.
End-to-end drawing-to-quote pipeline. Estimating throughput up significantly without adding headcount. Senior estimators now focused on judgement work — margin, customer mix, risk — rather than data entry.

Questions
Things people in this industry ask us.
01 Won't this commoditise our estimating?
No — your edge isn't typing speed. Your pricing rules, supplier relationships, and customer mix stay private to your business. AI takes the mechanical work away so your experienced people compete on judgement, not data entry.
02 Can it handle bespoke and unusual work?
Yes. Standard items run through automatically; bespoke items get flagged for the estimator to price manually. Most jobs are 70-90% standard items with a few bespoke parts — you save time on the standard 80% and treat the bespoke 20% the way you always have.
03 Where do material rates come from?
Wherever you keep them: spreadsheets, your ERP, supplier price lists pulled in via email parsing or API. We sync rates daily/weekly so quotes always price against current costs. Stale-rate alerts when a supplier file hasn't updated in too long.
04 How does it know our pricing logic?
During build we work through your real pricing decisions with you — labour multipliers, finish surcharges, MOQ logic, customer-specific margins, "we always add £200 for that customer" rules. The output reflects how you actually price, not a generic template.
05 Does it integrate with our existing estimating tool?
Yes — we build to whatever you use today. We can replace a spreadsheet, sit alongside a commercial estimating tool, or feed into your ERP. The output is a properly-formatted quote, however your customers expect it.
