Configured Quotes, Without the Configurator Nightmare.
Door and window manufacturing is configuration economics. Frame size, glass spec, ironmongery, paint or stain, fire rating, install on-site or supply-only — every dimension multiplies the SKU count. Spreadsheets break. Off-the-shelf configurators are too rigid. AI sits in the middle: structured enough to be reliable, flexible enough to handle the bespoke 20% your competitors don't.
The promise
Where it hurts
The door & window manufacturers reality.
A senior estimator at a door manufacturer spends most of their time on quote configuration — opening the customer spec, working through frame/glass/hardware options, pricing each combination, adding install if applicable, formatting the quote. The work is mechanical but the variation makes it slow. Quotes that should take 15 minutes take 90. Customers wait days for a price.
What we actually build
Tuned for door & window manufacturers.
Spec extraction from customer enquiry
Email, drawing, BOQ, or phone-call transcript. The system extracts what the customer is asking for — frame sizes, glass spec, fire rating, finish, install requirement.
Config-driven pricing
Each option priced from your live rate cards. Frame size and material, glass thickness and treatment, ironmongery package, finish, install per unit. Margin rules applied per customer type.
Branded quote document
Formatted PDF with line items, options, T&Cs, validity, your reference numbers. Sent to the customer in your tone of voice with the right person CC'd for approval.
Quote tracking and follow-up
Every quote tracked. Personalised nudges at 7/14/30 days. No quote goes cold while you're distracted by the next 50.
Adjacent engagement
The outcome.
Configuration-heavy quoting compressed from days to hours. Standard configurations same-day; complex multi-unit jobs with site survey held back for human review. Adapts naturally to fire doors, automatic doors, and bespoke joinery.
This is what the pattern delivers in this industry — built on our delivery experience in adjacent sectors, not a direct engagement we can claim. Honest disclosure: when we say "we built this," we mean it.

Questions
Things people in this industry ask us.
01 Can it handle our bespoke work?
Yes — bespoke items get flagged for the estimator to price manually. Most quotes are 70-90% standard config with a few bespoke parts. You save time on the standard 80% and treat bespoke the way you always have.
02 What about fire ratings and certification?
Fire-rated configurations route through a separate validation step that checks the requested config against tested combinations. You'll never quote a config that isn't certifiable.
03 How does it handle install vs supply-only?
Install adds a separate priced line, configurable by region (drive time, day rate, two-person job requirement, etc.). Supply-only routes to a different fulfilment flow. Both supported in the same quote engine.
04 Does it integrate with our manufacturing system?
Yes — accepted quotes flow through to your production system with the full config. Cuts the second round of data entry between sales and production.
05 What's the build timeline?
6-10 weeks for a config-heavy door manufacturer. Standard configurations live first, bespoke routing added in phase two. Quote-follow-up sequences typically added in phase three.
