Structura AI is a secure desktop AI workbench for structural engineering and CAD. Happy Webs designed and engineered it under MadeVia.ai, our focused AI product brand. It is an in-house product, not a client commission.

The problem

Generic AI can discuss engineering work, but professional workflows need more than a plausible answer. The system has to understand the active canvas, make its intended action visible, stay inside an approved route and check fresh evidence before it reports completion.

Structura sits between an engineer’s intent, a chosen AI model and the CAD or engineering application already in use. It brings live canvas context and controlled computer use into one desktop workbench while leaving responsibility with the engineer.

The controlled action loop

• Inspect: read fresh visual context from the active engineering canvas
• Plan: turn the request into a visible, bounded action plan
• Execute: run approved connector or local computer-use actions
• Verify: check fresh evidence before reporting completion

That sequence is the product. It makes the scope inspectable and the computer-use path stoppable, instead of hiding consequential actions behind a chat response.

Security and model choice

Structura supports model routes including Google Vertex AI, OpenAI, xAI, Mistral and local Ollama models. Provider credentials are stored in the operating system keychain. Prompts and images go directly to the provider the user selects; the MadeVia licence service does not receive CAD drawings, screenshots, prompts, provider tokens or model responses.

Current status

Structura AI is in private preview while release candidates are qualified ahead of public installers. It is designed to assist professional work, not replace engineering judgement: the engineer remains responsible for calculations, standards, checking, decisions and deliverables.

What this proves
