The starting point
Start with the thing that costs you time, enquiries or confidence. We shape the work around it.
On personal plans each person controls their own privacy settings, and the company has no admin view. A Team plan gives you central billing, member management, single sign-on and no training on your chats by default.
A custom skill is a saved method Claude follows every time: the steps, the checks and the format you want. On Team, the owner can share a skill with the whole company so everyone works the same way.
Scheduled tasks run in the cloud on paid plans, so a Monday list of unpaid invoices or a month end checklist arrives even when nobody remembers to ask.
Claude can connect to Gmail, Google Drive, Outlook, SharePoint and Xero. We agree what it can read, what it can change, and what always needs a person to approve first.
The work in context · Illustrative scenes
Turn a task that works into a shared skill, so every person in the office gets the same steps, checks and format.
A skill can prepare the receipts and the chasers. A person checks the figures and decides what is sent.
What we do
From a one-off project to ongoing support. We agree which services you need, what we will deliver and the cost before work starts.
Team created in your company name, members added, single sign-on with Google or Microsoft set up and your domain verified so staff stop making personal accounts for work.
Saved methods for your real admin, such as reading receipts against your spending categories or drafting invoice chasers in your tone, written, tested and shared with the whole team.
A project for each area of work holding the instructions, price lists and templates that make answers fit your business.
Gmail, Calendar and Drive, or Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams. Microsoft 365 needs a business account and admin consent, and anything that sends or edits stays behind approval.
Xero's own connector lets Claude answer questions about profit, invoices and bills without exporting reports. It reads your figures; changes still happen in Xero by a person.
Recurring jobs that run in the cloud, such as a weekly list of invoices to chase or a month end reminder, so they happen when the office is busy.
Claude for Excel and the Google Sheets sidebar for checking statements and tidying data, plus ready-made Word, Excel and PDF files for quotes, reports and letters.
A one page sheet for staff: what can go in, what stays out, and what always needs a person's check. You own the account and every decision; we set up and teach the provider's tools.
How it happens
We ask which jobs eat the most time, whether you run on Google or Microsoft, what you use for accounts and who will use Claude.
We create the Team plan, connect your email and files, then do each task once by hand and save the method as a skill.
Remote or on site, your team runs the skills on their own paperwork while we watch, correct and adjust them.
Once a skill is reliable we schedule it. After a couple of weeks we review the results, fix what did not work and add the next one.

Fixed price agreed before we start. You keep the account, the skills and the routines whatever happens.
The Claude Team plan is self-serve. Create the team, add at least two people and follow Anthropic's own guide. If you would rather skip the trial and error, we set it up with you, write the skills your office needs and train your staff on your own paperwork. We are not an Anthropic partner and earn nothing from your subscription.
Before you decide
Yes. The Team plan is self-serve and Anthropic's help centre at support.claude.com covers setup, connectors and skills. Most firms ask us in for the part after sign-up: writing skills that give consistent results, connecting email and files safely and training staff, so they are not left to trial and error.
When we checked in October 2026, Anthropic listed Team standard seats at $25 per person per month, or $20 a month on annual billing, with a minimum of two people. Prices are shown before tax, and a VAT-registered business can add its VAT number to the account. Your subscription is paid directly to Anthropic; our fee is separate.
Anthropic says it does not train on Team and Enterprise chats by default. The exception is thumbs up or thumbs down feedback, which an owner can switch off. On personal plans, training is a setting each user controls, which is one reason we move teams onto a company account.
A skill is a saved method Claude follows for one task: when to use it, the steps, the checks and what to hand back. On the Team plan the owner can share a skill with everyone, so the whole office works the same way. Writing and testing the skill is where most of our time goes, because that is where the trial and error is.
It can do a lot of the admin around bookkeeping, such as reading receipts and invoices, drafting chasers and checking a statement export. It is not accounting software and it is not an accountant. Anthropic's own terms say outputs should be checked before they are relied on, so a person checks every figure before it goes into your HMRC-recognised software.
Xero's own connector lets Claude read profit, invoices, bills and contacts. Intuit's QuickBooks connector can also create and update invoices, but we check it supports your UK account before relying on it. There is no official Sage connector at the time of writing, so Sage users work from exports.
All three are capable, and the setup work is much the same. Claude is the one we use most and is strong on long documents, spreadsheets and shared skills. ChatGPT and Claude both have Xero connections; Grok has broad email and file connectors. We help you pick based on the software you already use.
You are, and we will say so plainly. The subscription, the account and your data stay in your name under the provider's own terms. We set up and teach features the provider already offers. AI assistants can and do make mistakes, so every routine we build has a person checking anything that matters before it is sent, paid, filed or entered into your accounts. We don't give accounting, tax or legal advice, and Happy Webs isn't responsible for losses or decisions that come from the assistant's output. Your accountant and your accounting software remain the record for HMRC.
Either. A two hour remote session suits a small office that wants to get going. A half day on site works better when several people need training at once or the paperwork lives on paper. We are based in Tameside and travel UK wide; travel beyond 30 miles is quoted up front.
